Friday the 13th returns on video game

The fictional psychopath Jason Voorhees, iconic movie character Friday 13, is back on the front of the news. Besides a new TV series in preparation, the man in hockey mask also build a video game called Friday the 13th: The Video Game. Expected in October 2015 in the United States on various media, the title will return both the original feature film at the new TV series.

Sean S. Cunningham, director of the feature film of 1980, indicates that the development of Friday the 13th: The Video Game has been entrusted to an experienced studio, without giving further details. The app is described as a multiplayer game asymmetric gameplay, cooperative and competitive in the spirit of a Predator or Prey, between a group of survivors to the killer. It will be possible to place both in the camp survivors than in Jason.

The machinery concerned have not yet been identified but the game is indeed developed in multiple formats. The name of the development studio will be unveiled in the coming weeks. I bet that it will be a bit scarier than the first game adaptation of Friday the 13th dates back to 1985!
